Xclaimed Ministries "Concert in the Park"

Xclaimed Ministries has a goal to reach into the community. At their bi-monthly concerts in the park, Xclaimed Ministries provides a free concert, bicycle giveaways and free toys for all the children. At each event, they provide free food for everyone.

Stanton, CA, April 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Xclaimed Ministries teamed up with the former Mayor of Stanton, Dave Cadena, to present a community prayer walk through the City of Stanton and a free concert in the park. The prayer walk began at the Stanton Lighthouse Community Church of the Nazarene. Cadena and representatives from the American Legion led over one hundred people from the church to Stanton Park.

As the prayer walk ended, Xclaimed Ministries kicked off another day in the park with a message of hope through Jesus Christ. By the end of the day, almost three hundred free meals had been served, hundreds of children received free toys and four children won new bicycles. Paul Karanick, evangelist for Xclaimed Ministries, said, “The crowd was very light at first but, by the end of the day, I believe that there was close to 300 people!” Karanick added that Xclaimed does not spend a lot of money on advertising as they drain most of their funds on the event and toys – Xclaimed wants to make sure that they have enough quality toys for every event. Most of the people that attend Xclaimed concerts are word of mouth. Xclaimed Ministries enjoys reaching into the community and giving a chance for families and friends to come together and just have a fun time.

Karanick says that people often ask him, “Who donated these bicycles and toys?” He always responds, “Jesus Christ provided everything that we give away. We do not have a corporate sponsor, nor do we have wealthy people in our congregation. We all give what we can and God provides the rest.” Karanick says that this ministry wants to be an example that God will provide even when we don’t see the solution.

As this concert ends, they are already preparing for their June 12th concert at Stanton Park. Karanick says he still looks forward to giving every child a new bicycle. He says until that time they will do what they can with what they have. Karanick adds that anyone can donate a new bicycle or a new toy by going to www.xclaimed.org for the address and contact information. Xclaimed Ministries is a non-profit corporation so your donation is tax deductable.
