Talamas Broadcast Hosts Audio Equipment Expert for Seminar on Latest Recording and Mixing Devices from Sound Devices

Boston, MA, April 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- New England’s leading audio and video equipment provider Talamas Broadcast Equipment (www.talamas.com) recently hosted Jim Koomar, co-founder of audio equipment manufacturer Sound Devices LLC, for a lively two-hour seminar covering SD’s newest products.

The complimentary seminar was held at two different times on the same day in order to accommodate the large number of audio engineers and producers who had signed up for the informative event.

Koomar’s presentation covered the latest product offerings from Sound Devices, including best practices for how to get the most out of some of his company’s most sophisticated equipment. Topics covered included the new Sound Devices 552 mixer/recorder, the 788T recording system, the company’s Wave Agent file librarian software, and a preview of soon-to-be-released offerings.

Just days after the Talamas seminars, Sound Devices introduced its latest accessory for its 788T Digital Recorder – the CL-9 Linear Fader Controller.

“Adding the CL-9 turns the digital recorder into a complete mixing/recording system that is especially suited for audio capture in sound-for-picture, broadcast and music-oriented productions,” said Koomar.
