)-- Multilizer’s XPS scanner adds support for the localization of XPS documents. It supports translation of texts in XPS documents, including texts embedded in SmartArt in MS Office documents. XPS is a Microsoft international open standard for a page description language and a fixed-document format
Multilizer’s XPS Scanner extracts the texts to translate from the XPS format without the need of any third-party tools, and writes translated texts back to the XPS file, retaining the lay-out of the original text. Multilizer is able to embed a font to the translated XPS so that the XPS document renders all the glyphs properly.
XPS (XML Paper Specification) is designed to represent digital content in a paper-like fashion. Like the PDF format, XPS is a fixed-layout document format designed to preserve document fidelity, providing device-independent documents appearance. Microsoft Vista or later can print any document to XPS format for later viewing. (Windows XP users can separately install XPS Document Writer driver for producing XPS files).
