Aly has been previously nominated for APRA Country Song of the Year & an MLT Songwriting award finalist. Aly Cook's song Country Storm, co-written with David Erik ASCAP was recorded in Nashville and the accompanying video filmed in Nashville, Hollywood & Christchurch has been a constant on the playlists of both CMC Country Music Channel in Australia & on Sky 63 in NZ. The track included on NZOA Kiwi Hit disc and has gained airplay on NZ and Australian radio stations.

This will be Aly's first time attending the National Country Music Awards.

Aly will travel to Hamilton for the National Country Music Awards to be held at the The Founders Theatre - Saturday 14th of August, 2010 and will also perform at the Nominee's night at the Sky City Casino in Hamilton on Friday 13th of August, 2010.

This will be Aly's first appearance at the awards.
