Retailers Get Opportunity to Branch Out and Blossom with Sample Order Free Returns Promotion at DHgate.com
Despite the enormous success that many retailers have experienced in using China wholesale suppliers as business partners, there still remains a reluctance to branch out to different sellers because of concerns that items will not be as described. DHgate.com recently launched a promotion aimed at helping retailers and suppliers build new relationships in a completely risk-free environment, with a limited time Sample Order Free Return promotion.
The Sample Orders Free Return promotion will run from July 20 to August 20, 2010. It allows VIP Buyers to place a single-item order valued at less than US$200, with Free Returns available and the guaranteed return of the shipping fee also.
"On platforms like eBay, few purchasing relationships are long-term. The sales dynamic on DHgate.com is quite different; many buyers only shop around until they find their preferred sellers, then trading relationships spanning many years are often formed," said James He of DHgate.com.
"The Sample Orders Free Return promotion will allow buyers to branch out and form new relationships with suppliers that they may have resisted because of fear that items will not be as described. It boosts business potential for both buyers and sellers," Mr. He continued.
All buyers on the site already have access to Free Returns for 30 days after the receipt of any item. However, this Free Return policy is subject to a Fair Use clause. The Sample Order Free Return promotion allows VIP buyers to try out a wide range of items from different suppliers without being flagged as abusing the Returns Policy.
The China wholesale platform is also asking VIP Buyers for feedback on the structure and benefits of the promotion, via the VIP Salon area on DHgate.com's forum.
