)-- Respect, the reggae music artist is signed at the Don Lichterman world music record label, Tropical Records.
Respect, named one of the “legends in reggae” music today, is set to deliver his Take A Stand full length CD to be released at Tropical Records at the end this year.
Tropical Records, one of the world’s top world music record labels adds to its roster another reggae legend, Respect, by signing an exclusive agreement with the lead singer. Respect was signed this month by Don Lichterman who heard the songs from the Take A Stand CD earlier this year, says that he “wanted to bring him (Respect) to the Tropical label” and that he “wants to get the CD out this year.” The legendary reggae artist was quickly sought after by the Indy record label Tropical Records before signing the artist to the multi album recording deal.
“Respect is the perfect addition to the Tropical label,” says Don Lichterman, the head of Tropical Records, and “we cannot wait to start working his music this month.” The label is starting to set up the reggae music artist in order to get the CD (Take A Stand) in stores by the end of the year.
