Intermodal Rail Shows Signs of Growth Due to Greener Travel

San Diego, CA, October 13, 2010 --( Supply Chain Digital reports that intermodal rail is making a strong comeback as customers turn to rail freight as a greener and cheaper way of transporting goods.

In the October issue of the magazine, reporter Liz Wells charts the rise of intermodal rail, despite the ongoing effects of the recession.

The use of Lean Principles in purchasing is also under the spotlight as Supply Chain Digital discovers how to implement this business system.
