Las Vegas, NV, August 23, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Leatt Corporation (Pink Sheets – LEAT), headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa, announced today that it has obtained a listing on the U.S. Pink Sheets quotation service with the ticker symbol “LEAT”.

The Leatt Corporation is the exclusive global developer and distributor of the Leatt-Brace™, a Prophylactic Neck Brace designed to prevent potentially devastating motor sport injuries to the cervical spine (neck). The inventor of the brace, Dr. Chris Leatt, is the President of the Leatt Corporation and is responsible for executing the company’s global strategy. Dr. Leatt is a qualified medical doctor with experience in trauma and neurosurgery.

After serving as the Chief Medical Officer at many South African races over the past years, Dr. Chris Leatt has recently been appointed as Injury Assessment Officer for Motorsport South Africa, which further enables him to analyze the very type of injuries that he seeks to prevent with the introduction of the Leatt-Brace™ and associated products.

The Leatt-Brace™ has been under development and testing for the past three years. Extensive crash testing has been conducted at the Eurotype Test Center located at the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS, http://www.dti.gov.za/thedti/sabs.htm) and the product has undergone more than two years worth of real world testing by racers who have agreed to help develop the brace by providing their valuable feedback.
