Jerusalem, Israel, January 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Minicom Advanced Systems is set to reveal two new player-to-screen digital signage solutions; a long-range extender and an advanced distribution system at this year’s Screen Expo at Earls Court, London, 31st January to 1st February.

The first, DS Vision 3000 is a 300m (1000ft) range CATx based distribution system delivering HD video and stereo-audio content to multiple screens. Its full serial management capability allows administrators to remotely query and turn on/off the displays, and for the first time, provides central management control of the player to the screen signal transfer.

The second, DS OpticVision is a long range optical fiber extender. It lets you place your LCD/plasma screens up to 30km (19 miles) away from the media player, while delivering crystal clear images and sound, without loss of signal.

Both new systems will be on display at Screen Expo’s Digital Signage Showcase, another ‘first ever’ event showing a complete digital signage installation with the key market leaders in the supply chain. Minicom, manufacturers of real-time player-to-screen distribution and extension systems will be displaying their solutions along with 3M, Pixel Inspiration, DVI Partnerships, and NEC.

According to Eran Kessel, Vice President for Marketing at Minicom, “The DS Vision 3000 and the DS OpticVision represent an unbeatable double-team giving real-time content distribution and management for any type of digital signage application at any feasible distance. Minicom is the only manufacturer on the market that can provide such a broad range of capabilities at superior price-performance.”

Both DS Vision 3000 and DS OpticVision will be shipping Q2 2007.
