Campbells Opens Online Community on Bitrix Site Manager


Bitrix, Inc., together with Red Ked's, a creative marketing agency, are pleased to announce the successful deployment of Bitrix Site Manager as the platform for www.campbells-soup.ru. The resulting site has provided the Campbell Soup Company with an interactive platform for fans of Campbellā€™s soups.

Alexandria, VA, March 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bitrix, Inc., a technology trendsetter in business communications solutions, together with Red Ked's, a creative marketing agency, are pleased to announce the successful deployment of Bitrix Site Manager as the platform for www.campbells-soup.ru. The resulting site has provided the Campbell Soup Company with an interactive platform for fans of Campbell’s soups.

Campbell Soup Company is the world leader in the production and promotion of healthful foods and soups. Campbell's sauces, vegetables and fruit drinks and soups are sold in over 120 countries.

The main objective of the project was to create a single "information zone", designed to inform visitors about the company's products and use progressive Internet technology to establish an active community among customers. By participating in the community, users themselves influence and develop the brand, try recipes of other users, share cooking secrets, and at the same time become experts in soup-making.

The site consists of two sections: Product and Community, between which content is divided. The Product section is where visitors can find information about product lines, company news, updates, important information about the production process, information about upcoming events and much more. The Community section is a platform for users to communicate, share recipes, plan holiday menus, etc.

Development lead time was about 6 months and was completed in September 2010. Over this period, with the help of the wide range of functionality of Bitrix Site Manager, a full user experience was developed: from their first visit to the publication of recipes; participation in discussions; evaluation of "colleagues in the culinary profession"; and get their own "culinary" ratings. The quick and easy implementation of basic user functions (registration, authorization, access permissions and saving ratings) in the Bitrix product was an important factor in the successful establishment of this full user experience.

News feeds and a blog section were also successfully launched. Tasty Facts and Why Natural are blog topics which enjoy popularity. Other important services are including in the portal, for example, morphological search of the site, smooth management of both static (news, articles, photographs) and dynamic (forums and blogs) content.

According to Red Keds, Bitrix Site Manager enables the building of high-performance systems for websites which are multi-purpose in nature and ensures stable operation under sustained high loads, such as in the case of www.mysoup.ru.
