The second annual Big-Wave World Tour came to a close in late February with world famous big-wave surfer, Jamie Sterling taking first place, with more than 1,000 points separating Sterling and the second place competitor. The second annual Big-Wave World Tour came to a close in late February with world famous big-wave surfer, Jamie Sterling taking first place, with more than 1,000 points separating Sterling and the second place competitor. Sterling, who was forced to sit out last year due to injury, used his undesired break to take notes on the world’s best surfers as they surfed the world’s biggest waves. The combination of Sterling’s determination to get back into competition and his eagerness to implement the knowledge he’d acquired sitting out, helped lead to his quality performances.
