OnyakTech, a provider of DotNetNuke software modules, announced the release of a new module – File Share 1.0. With File Share, OnyakTech introduces a new approach to file distribution with cloud computing, online community building, approval management and user friendly file selection processing.
Akron, OH, April 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- OnyakTech announces the completion of Beta testing and release of File Share 1.0. File Share is a file distribution product for the DotNetNuke platform that makes it easy for people to browse a collection of files either on their own web site or hosted on the Amazon Cloud Services. File Share enables users to build an online community with comments and voting for each file and lets people download individual files or add them to a single zip file that is downloaded once browsing is complete. This product features the ability to combine an unlimited number of files and file sizes with streaming technology that allows people to create and download massive file bundles.
The release of File Share is new but the design was taken from an existing news distribution product by OnyakTech called Novus that was first released in 2007. “We combined Novus (which is already a powerful news distribution product) with Amazon Cloud Services and robust file processing to create a new social approach to file management,” said Chris Onyak, founder of OnyakTech. “Our customers asked us for a robust file manager that can bundle multiple files into a single zip file with all of the features of a news distribution system.
