Artezio Software Launches a New Software Development Center in Nizhny Novgorod

Artezio Software in cooperation with LANIT announces the opening of a new subsidiary in Nizhny Novgorod – now its seventh software development center. The new office will be headed by Dmitry Parshin.

Moscow, Russia, April 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Since the company’s establishment, Artezio aspires to provide both high quality and cost-effective software development and consulting services to its clients worldwide. By pursuing a multi-center approach in Russia and CIS Artezio Software is able to maintain competitive operational costs. Inline with this strategy - over the past 5 years, Artezio has opened development centers in Minsk, Saratov, Vitebsk and Mogilev that all together employ more than 70 percent of the company’s personnel and independently accomplish more than half of the company’s projects.

“In the beginning of the 2011 we decided to launch a new production center in Nizhny Novgorod based on the LANIT’s subsidiary in the Volga Region. The decision was mostly influenced by the need to expand our production resources in order to respond to a fast growing volume of orders in the most cost-effective way. The city of Nizhny Novgorod was chosen because of its suitable location in relation to the other production centers of the company and availability of a highly qualified professional pool,” says Pavel Adylin, Artezio CEO.

To date there are 25 scientific R&D institutions and 33 high-schools in the city, among them are Nizhny Novgorod State University, Nizhny Novgorod Technical University, as well as Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Information Technologies, that focuses on information technologies, software development, system administration, telecommunications, cellular networks, Internet technologies, and IT management that continually supply that city’s talent pool with a number of high qualified specialists every year.

Nizhny Novgorod has also been chosen by the Russian Government as one of four sites for building an IT-oriented technology park - a special zone with an established infrastructure that also enjoys a favorable tax and customs policy. The city’s leadership among Russian IT centers is further reaffirmed by international ratings that have ranked Nizhny Novgorod among 50 IT-outsourcing centers in the world (according to Tholons Top 50 Emerging Outsourcing Cities report, ranking together with Moscow and St. Petersburg).

Artezio plans to rapidly expand the size of the office by several fold by the end of this year. The office is headed by Dmitry Parshin, a high qualified specialist with 15 years of experience in the IT industry. “We are glad to join the Artezio team and are certain that the new office will be quickly integrated into the company as planned. I hope that the software development center of Nizhny Novgorod will shortly become not only a resource center but also a cohesive team of high experienced professionals that are always ready to effectively deliver the most complex projects,” comments Dmitry Parshin.

The main focus of the Nizhny Novgorod subsidiary will include software development using Java and .NET technologies. Beyond that Artezio plans to create competencies in embedded software development by drawing from existing skilled professionals in Nizhny Novgorod. Combined, Artezio Software will be positioned well to service industries such as Healthcare and Medical Devices, Automotive and Telecommunications industries.
