TouchSystems & Lo-K Incorporated Set to Debut New Kiosk Product at CETW

TouchSystems and Lo-K will debut the new kiosk product line at CETW April 27-28 in San Francisco.

Hutto, TX, April 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- TouchSystems and Lo-K Systems Incorporated are excited to announce that they will be debuting the new kiosk product line at Customer Engagement Technology World (CETW) in San Francisco, April 27-28.

The kiosk design is a joint partnership between TouchSystems, a leader in the touch screen industry, and Lo-K, a premier developer of self-service technology. Utilizing the NEC product platform, the kiosks feature TouchSystems' newly introduced 32 and 42 inch open frame touch screens and Lo-K's self-service software.

"We're very excited to be working with TouchSystems on this new kiosk design," said Lo-K Vice President of Sales and Business Development Marty Paris. "We really like the way our software works with TouchSystems' touch screens—they really make the software pop."

The partnership between TouchSystems and Lo-K began organically, with the two companies quickly realizing they could work together to create an outstanding product.

"After speaking with the team at Lo-K, it was obvious there was a real opportunity for collaboration," said TouchSystems' Senior Vice President Carol Nordin. "They have a great, innovative software package and we have the creativity and hardware to help create a unique, attractive kiosk that helps to enhance the customer shopping experience."

Lo-K's software and self-service kiosks are primarily used in retail, on large campuses such as hospitals and colleges, and at sports venues and amusement parks. Lo-K will be integrating their software and TouchSystems' new large format open frame touch displays into all of their new public and retail kiosk designs.

TouchSystems' 32 and 42 inch open frame displays feature Dispersive Signal Technology (DST), a public display grade panel and a commercial-grade design, along with a comprehensive input panel, text ticker and 6-axis color control. Fully customizable, the displays are currently available for purchase.
