Portland Neighborhood Shopping Maps Go Digital

David Bentley, C.E.O., and Michael Sant, President, of MapClicks are proud to announce the launching of the new website MapClicks.com. This new website features interactive maps, directions, photo slide shows, videos, articles, podcasts, calendars, and virtual tours of businesses, and their neighborhoods.

Portland, OR, March 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The new website reflects David's and Michael's shared vision of expanding visibility and services for the local business community, and creating a valuable tool.

“We are all about locals.” David Bentley, C.E.O., MapClicks continues; “We are striving to get local shoppers to purchase from locally owned businesses.” David is a native Oregonian. Since the late 1980's he has worked closely with local businesses in developing their brand awareness.

MapClicks promotes local businesses through printed map-guides, and on-line opportunities. In a world that is saturated with corporate franchises and strip malls, our products highlight local businesses and the neighborhoods in which they are located. Portland is the “City of Neighborhoods.” MapClicks brings more awareness and excitement to explore them. Each of these neighborhoods of which MapClicks serves has their own flavor and character:

N.E. Alberta Street
N.E. Beaumont Village
N.E. Broadway
N. Mississippi
N.W. Nob Hill
S.E. Belmont
S.E. Hawthorne
S.E. Sellwood
S.E. Westmoreland

MapClicks uses a contemporary design, and a rich content in print and the interactive website. MapClicks print maps can be found in all of these neighborhoods, at all the major hotels, the Portland Oregon Visitors Association's visitor centers, and the Oregon Convention Center.
