Harris Family Foundation 4th Annual Charity Concert & Auction to Benefit Friends of Karen

Dix Hills, NY, June 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Announcing the fourth annual major charity event for Friends of Karen at the home of a private benefactor. This organization helps the families of children with life threatening illness both emotionally and financially during those trying times. In the past 12 months, they have helped over 1,300 children in the tri-state area.

On July 1, 2011, they are expecting 1,000 people at their home for their fourth annual event. Many celebrities and athletes attend and lend their support. A major source of donations are their silent and Chinese auctions. They will have professional auctioneers on site to assist with any and all donated items. Last year, they had donations from both large and small. From Louis Vutton to Hampton Popcorn. Golf balls to gold jewelry. Everything can and will be used. Just the donated items raised over $12,000.

They are asking you to look to your organizations to help them source auction items. Every penny raised goes directly to the charity.
