TouchSystems Announces Next-Generation P 55" Touch Display

TouchSystems announces the new and improved P 55" large-format, touch display.

Hutto, TX, March 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- TouchSystems is excited to announce its next-generation P 55” large-format, touch display. The latest P 55” boasts a slimmer design, an Open Expansion Slot (OPS), and eco-friendly features.

The next-generation P 55” also features up-to-date thermal and cooling capabilities, contributing to its ability to run 24/7 without requiring a large amount of energy. The P 55” offers many eco-friendly elements including a carbon footprint meter and an ambient light sensor. All those capabilities and elements both prolong the life of the display and conserve energy.

The P 55” display is integrated with Dispersive Signal Technology (DST). The touch technology is both rugged and reliable, making it an optimal choice for highly-trafficked areas. The display’s other features, such as its slim depth (4.9 inches) and high contrast ratio (4000:1), ensure that the display will be noticed in such areas.

President Carol Nordin of TouchSystems notes that the P 55” can be used in a variety of locations; however, “It truly shines when used in sectors such as quick service restaurants (QSR), airports, public information spaces, and storefronts. Because the display is integrated with Dispersive Signal Technology (DST), it can be used in the harshest of environments and withstand both scratches and kids with bubblegum.”

P5550D-U2 features at a glance:
· Dispersive Signal Technology (DST)
· Open Expansion Slot (OPS)
· Thermal and cooling functions, plus self-diagnosis tools and fan technology
· Sealed panel design
· Industrial-strength, premium grade panel
