Varela will lead the company’s strategic development and client relations program as the channel’s leading business services expands to meet market demand.

Prior to joining 2112, Varela served as strategic account director at Ziff Davis Enterprise, where she provided direct oversight for sales and client relations of Channel Insider. She also managed enterprise lead generation and business development programs.
A native of Long Island, Varela gained strong sales and business skills while climbing through the ranks at UBM Media. She served in various roles over the years for such properties as CRN, XChange and Electronic Engineering Times.
