Invisco Whole House Fan Company Submits 5 Models to California's Energy Commission

Invisco has obtained third party certification on 5 whole house fan models and the certified data is on its way to the state of California. The models certified include some record breaking designs. Invisco offers larger fans than have been seen before for attic mounting and quiet cool operation. Invisco fans are so large that they cannot be used without multiple ceiling openings.

Temecula, CA, March 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Invisco has emerged as the leader in large attic mounted whole house fans. For the first time homeowners can get the high performance of 30 inch, 36 inch, 42 inch and 48 inch fans that were heretofore only available as hall ceiling mounted systems.

These fans pull large amounts of air. The 30 inch fan is 6000 CFM, the 36 is 10,350 CFM, the 42 is 14,500 CFM, and the 48 inch fan is 18,200 CFM.

Invisco systems come standard with multiple ducts to ensure air flow is unhindered. For instance, the 30 inch fan comes with 2 (two) 18 inch duct connections that are typically connected to one room and a hallway. The 36 inch fan comes with 4 18 inch duct connections and typically connects to 3 bedrooms and one hall. The 42 inch fan and the 48 inch fan each come with 4 20 inch duct connectors.

Every system comes with the exclusive round ceiling frame that can be painted to match the home decor. And every ceiling connection has the patented Invisco damper that seals off the ducts right over the ceiling.

To ensure the highest level of attic insulation, Invisco has designed and patented a ceiling interface that is capable of R60 and higher rating.

The 2012IECC specification for attic insulation has just raised the recommended rating for climate zones 4 and 5 to R49 from R38.

Invisco expects to be part of the Southern California Edison rebate program and the Riverside WRCOG program soon.
