New Hollywood Artist Junior Wright Hires MAYO Communications for National Publicity

North Carolina native has just released his first album “Come to Me” &“Private Dancer” video.

Hollywood, CA, April 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- MAYO Communications has been retained as the agency of record by Music Artist, Junior Wright of Los Angeles. Wright, a North Carolina native, writes, produces and sings music with his first debut album, “Come to Me,” which is a collection of new age, dance, pop and acoustic songs/music.

“I was inspired by Prince, who takes risks, and the late Michael Jackson, who was unique,” said Junior Wright, who started his entertainment career in acting and dancing in Charlotte, NC. Wright says he loves different genres of music and artists ranging from Jason Aldean and Stevie Wonder to Mariah Carey and Incubus.

MAYO will provide entertainment publicity and global media relations for the recording artist and dancer, Wright, who is shopping for a record label in Hollywood. Wright also has a recent video entitled, “Private Dancer” on YouTube with Kameron Dash, directed by Angel Kou and produced by Michael Scott Brennan.

MAYO Communications is no stranger to celebrity events and launching artists. Earlier this year MAYO signed recording artist and songwriter Kristen Faulconer, LA (Sound Bakery Productions). MAYO was retained by WKRP Producer Lissa Levy to promote the first MAMMOJAM 2010 at the newly opened Rise Club, Hollywood, CA. The benefit raised awareness for Dr. Susan Love Foundation to fight breast cancer.
“Dancing with the Stars” Louis Van Amstel and Jonathan Roberts made guest appearances at the event.

MAYO also provided international publicity for Hip-Hop Violin Duo
“Nuttin’ But StringZ” (NBS). The platinum recording artists Damien and Toure Escobar, of Queens, NY, played live on “ABC’s Dancing with the Stars,” along with New York’s Ballerina Tiler Peck along with 12 other dancers with Hip-Hop Choreographer Travis Wall. It was the first time in the history of the show for an instrumental performance. NBS were in the top three on NBC’s America’s Got Talent show last year.
