TouchSystems Accessorizes Digital Signage with Peerless-AV Mounts

TouchSystems is working with Peerless-AV to provide another mounting option for digital signage and large-format, touch displays.

Hutto, TX, May 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- TouchSystems is proud to work with Peerless-AV, a leading supplier of mounts, stands, and carts for computers and large-format displays. Two of Peerless-AV’s products, the SS560FK Floor Stand and the SC560FK Floor Cart, are ideal for displays measuring from 32” to 65.”

TouchSystems had the pleasure of demonstrating an X 46 large-format, touch display on the Peerless-AV SS560FK Floor Stand at a tradeshow in Chicago. The X 46 and the stand complement each other perfectly; the X 46 boasts a slim, aesthetic design as does the stand. The stand – and the cart – features a media storage box and an internal cable management system, which allows people to hide hardware, cords, and other peripherals and to create a sleeker and more refined presentation.

The stand and the cart seem meant for touch-enabled screens. The cart and the stand are capable of a 30° tilt, allowing for a more ergonomic touch experience. The tilt is more welcoming and noticeable, too; Carol Nordin, President of TouchSystems, notes that the stand or cart draws attention to the display. She says, “Everyone stopped to look at our X 46. How could you not when it was placed on a stand and placed in a strategic location?”

The cart and the stand do have some differences. The cart is a good solution for tradeshows and conferences because of its ease of movement. It maneuvers on four-inch swivel casters, two of which can be locked. The stand can be used at tradeshows, too, but it’s intended for more permanent installations such as an office entrance.
