Kitchen Kettle Village Adds More Jammin’ to Annual Berry Jam Festival

Kitchen Kettle Villages' 12th Annual Berry Jam Festival June 15 & 16, 2007

Intercourse (Lancaster County), PA, June 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Just how many tastes can you satisfy and how much fun can you “jam” into the 12th Annual Berry Jam Festival at Kitchen Kettle Village Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16, 2007? Visitors will be able to satisfy their senses with berry-inspired foods, the sounds of a variety of jamming musical groups, and learn more about berries than they ever imagined! All of the happenings are sure to satisfy a mixture of musical and culinary tastes while providing a maximum amount of fun.

Some of the taste-tempting foods awaiting guests during the festival will be a Berry Mojito, Blueberry Mustard Dip, Breakfast Bruschetta, Blackberry Marshmallow Fruit Dip and Raspberry Salsa. Dip berries in either of the two chocolate fountain flavors offered by Pepper Lane Fudge and Sweets (Saturday only). Want more berry-licious offerings? The Kling House Restaurant and the Kettle Cafe will feature berry-inspired specials on their menus both days.

Guests can pick up some ideas and tips from their culinary specialists during the various cooking demonstrations to create their own berry temptations. And for the purists at heart, there will be plenty of fresh berries available both days.

The more daring can enter the Berry Eating Contest to see who can eat the most berries in the shortest amount of time. If it has to do with berries it’s sure to be found at this popular, tasty festival.

Always held the third Friday and Saturday in June, rain or shine, the Berry Jam Festival runs 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 15, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 16.
