TouchSystems Integrates 42" Large-Format Display with Infra Red Technology

TouchSystems introduces multi-touch capabilities to another large-format display.

Hutto, TX, June 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- TouchSystems continues to build its line of products that feature PulseIR (infra red) touch technology. The latest product to be integrated with the technology is the V 42” large-format display.

TouchSystems sees the value in integrating PulseIR with additional products because of the technology’s benefits. First, the technology is reliable; the advanced scanning and signal processing technology eliminates ghosting, or false touch points. Second, it allows for true multi-touch (two touch points or more) tracking. Third, it is resistant to dust and moisture because of its sealed panel design. Fourth, the technology is resistant to direct sunlight and ambient lighting. Fifth, the technology is durable. It often will outlast the display itself. Sixth, the technology is simple to use. It works upon being plugged into a USB port on a computer.

The benefits of PulseIR are complemented by the V 42” large-format display. Like the technology, the display is rugged and reliable; it is comprised of a commercial-grade LCD panel and industrial-grade components. The display’s built-in expansion slot supports Open Pluggable Specification (OPS), an option that simplifies digital signage installations and maintenance. It also features 1080p high-definition resolution and built-in speakers. Carol Nordin, President of TouchSystems, says, “We’re happy to add to our growing line of infra red products. Our newest display integrated with PulseIR is an ideal solution for the person who works in retail, hospitality, or education.”
