TouchSystems Grows Its Projected Capacitive Line

TouchSystems has added three new desktop monitors to its InnovaTouch product line.

Hutto, TX, August 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- TouchSystems is excited to introduce its latest touch monitors to the public. TouchSystems now offers a bezel free, flush screen multi-touch monitor. It is available in fifteen, seventeen, and nineteen inches.

The touch monitors are part of the InnovaTouch family. The monitors use projected capacitive touch technology, which is the same technology found in many smartphones and tablets. When a person uses an InnovaTouch monitor, the only difference from a phone or tablet is the size; a person using an InnovaTouch monitor can zoom in or out on objects, can rotate images or objects, and can swipe objects across the screen just as he or she can with a phone or tablet.

While the technology may be the most prominent feature of the new touch monitors, it isn’t the only one. The flush screen and bezel free design – both benefits of the projected capacitive touch technology – make the monitors easier to clean and to maintain. In addition, the flush screen and bezel free design reduce the risk of contaminants, such as dust or bacteria or liquids, from compromising the touch sensor.

Unlike smartphones or tablets, the InnovaTouch monitors are designed for commercial use. They are comprised of industrial components and will meet the rigors of a 24/7 work environment. They also are HID compliant, ensuring a simple installation process. Carol Nordin, president of TouchSystems, says, “Our PCap line is one of our customers’ favorites. Our customers want a digital experience that blends seamlessly into their everyday lives. A PCap desktop monitor does exactly that.”
