The Best in Philly Hip Hop - New Video Featuring Nex Millen and Nina Simone
Philadelphia, PA, July 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Respect The Culture, LLC, a Philadelphia-based record label and multi-media company, has released Nex Millen/Retrospective’s latest video, “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood,” featuring Nina Simone. “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” is on Nex Millen’s current album, “Hard To Kill: The Hip Hop Chronicles of Nex Millen.”

Shot in Philadelphia and Las Vegas, the video features the music of Nex Millen, with beats by Fel Sweetenburg and the music and video clips of legendary soul artist Nina Simone.

“The video chronicles what it takes to make a great song” said artist Nex Millen. “It takes a lot of hard work and years of experience to make good music. It’s more than just making a beat or recording your rhyme or mixing the song. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication.”

“It’s a great video. Nex Millen is the hardest working artist and producer I know, and the ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’ video allows him to share his creative process with fans. Respect The Culture is excited to present his latest work.”
