About the Book (Excerpts & Info)

So how does abandoning South Louisiana effect someone? It effects everyone that uses gasoline, diesel, or home heating oil. It effects every taxpayer who's money has been almost totally wasted by FEMA and other federal government agencies.

Insurance companies are being allowed to not pay their policies. And, it can happen to anyone next.

The levee protection system has not begun in most places. People are still suffering. Propaganda and disinformation is deceiving the nation about the progress of the recovery. The Iraq War is being used to Wag the Dog and distract the nation from the real threat--That a hurricane could wipe out South Louisiana and it's oil refining abilities. We could lose half the county's gasoline refining capabilities in one storm. The price of gas and diesel could double overnight for the consumer.

It would result in higher prices of everything that must be shipped. Get informed by reading this book which is chocked full of true facts and true life experiences. The same abandonment could happen anywhere next.

Also consider the common sense solutions that are offered to save a region so critical to everyone in the United States and all connected to the new global economy.

10 cents from every book will go to Katrina Survivor relief. Please help U.S. citizens victimized by the lack of recovery efforts.

Deftly constructed at 248 pages, The Katrina Puzzle: America's Disgrace is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Conspiracy & Scandal Investigations category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, The Katrina Puzzle: America's Disgrace meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $16.95 and $28.95, respectively.

About the Author

Robert Redmond is a Hurricane Katrina survivor, born and raised in south Louisiana.

After the storm, I was among the thousands who went through all the insurance claims processes and scams. I have also been through all the intended government aid processes which were basically useless to homeowners. As like most everyone, very little aid made it to those who the aid was intended.

Through these processes, I witnessed outright obstruction by most all agencies of the federal government, that kept aid from the intended victims.

After losing all in hurricane Andrew that hit the school in Homestead, Florida he returned to his home in South Louisiana.

The Katrina Puzzle: America's Disgrace was written to inform Americans of the real national threat of losing South Louisiana's oil refining and gas production for next storms. That could result in gasoline doubling in price overnight, then rise sharply from there. Having seen other countries fall into chaos overnight, I realize the danger of losing half of the nation's gasoline and diesel refining capabilities in a future storm. It would wreck the U.S. economy overnight and change the quality of life for every citizen.

It is time America know the truth of this danger, so that we can protect our energy resources from those greedy few who will wreck the U.S. economy if not stopped. We have very little time left.

I will inform the readers of these problems and offer common sense solutions to prevent a national economic tragedy that is closer to happening that everyone would like to think.

In a country as addicted to oil as we are in America, the only thing between stability and unaffordable energy is South Louisiana. Without protecting this most valuable energy resource, this country faces grave shortages of gasoline, diesel, natural gas and home heating oil. It will touch everyone in the U.S. We are very close to losing it all, if we do not take immediate action to protect one of the nation's most valuable energy assets.
