Better Mouse Experience in Multi-Monitor Systems

Vancouver, Canada, May 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Actual Tools has implemented features missing in Windows, making the mouse behavior more practical and convenient on multi-monitor systems: desktop wrapping, locking mouse within boundaries of a monitor and various scroll tools.

Multi-monitor systems add extra screen space and additional flexibility as a result, but the entire working experience is totally different from that on a single-monitor PC. Instead of a contiguous area with definite boundaries and predictive mouse behavior, a user has physically separated parts of the screen with inconsistent and a non-intuitive mouse moving between them.

In order to address this issue, Actual Tools added several options into its Actual Multiple Monitors to make the mouse experience on multi-monitor configurations more obvious. The program fixes the most annoying mouse glitches that many multi-monitor hardware users experience. First of all, it enables the desktop wrap option which turns the entire desktop into a wrapped area: vertically, horizontally or both. So when a mouse cursor reaches a desktop edge, it immediately appears from the opposite edge of the desktop.

Another new interesting option in Actual Multiple Monitors is Mouse Lock. With this feature turned on, the mouse cursor stays within the boundaries of the current monitor, either as long as the option is enabled (hard lock), or for a pre-defined short time threshold (soft lock). This prevents occasional mouse jumps from one monitor to another, and helps locating the cursor faster.

Customizable hotkeys, the ability to cycle the mouse cursor through monitors and the handy option to scroll inactive windows with the mouse wheel makes Actual Multiple Monitors a serious enhancement of standard Windows multi-monitor capabilities.
