)-- Home builder Taylor Morrison has promoted Billy Staudt to the position of area construction manager for the Houston division, the company announced today.
Staudt previously served as a builder and construction project manager for the Houston division.
“The skills that Billy brings to the table make him an asset to Taylor Morrison,” said Jonathan White, division president for Taylor Morrison Houston. “His has trained and developed builders and assisted in high-performing market areas as well as various awards. The position of area construction manager will be a great fit for him.”
Staudt began working at Taylor Morrison in 2005 as an assistant builder. Since then he has become an asset to the company, proving successful while building in various product lines. He was recipient of the Houston Division Heart Award in 2006 as well as the Prism Awards Builder of the Year Runner Up in 2012.
Preceding Taylor Morrison, Staudt worked in the hospitality industry as a general manager and as a training manager for Marriott and Hilton Hotels.
He holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tex.
