Online Fraudsters Shown the Door at BizBid.com.au

Sydney, Australia, August 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- BizBid.com.au has recently changed its processes as part of an effort to toughen up its stance regarding online security. One such measure is the development of a new registration process. BizBid.com.au Manager, Danny Hile, claims toughening up registration will prevent potential fraudulent use of the website.

The new basic registration involves proving ownership of an email address and becoming verified requires proof of a postal address.

While the tough new measures should add only one minute to the whole process they will benefit all members by taking the question of identity out of most transactions. Member addresses are not disclosed to the other users but BizBid.com.au keeps a record of verified user details in case a legitimate complaint needs to be pursued.

The tough new measures come only days after Danny published “Golden Rules for Purchasing and Selling Online” on several websites. The article provides users with a more general approach to online security. Specific advice for staying safe while shopping on BizBid.com.au is now available in the security section of the website.

Existing measures of security on BizBid.com.au cannot be disclosed but Danny insists that several actions can and will be taken against those who are found to be in breach of website conditions or Australian law. No fraudulent activity has occurred on BizBid.com.au to date.
