Fiedler, a former executive with Timex, has vast connections in mass retail outlets including Dillard's, Macy's and Marriott Hotels.

In a statement from redhot, the designer and licensee of the brand Deadliest Catch, they noted they are excited to have Fiedler on board and they see great potential in a short term through his sales efforts. He will also concentrate on promoting other redhot brands such as the Rolly brush.

The signing of Fiedler from San Diego is the fifth recently for redhot following contracts with Barrington Powell from Detroit, Lisa Carlsen of Wisconsin, Danny Lemelin in Canada and Hugo Madrigal in Mexico.

The Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch TV show is holding strong in the number one spot on cable TV, pulling in close to 3 million viewers a week.
