SecureNet Introduces Wi-Fi Interactive Gateway Module

Secure point-to-point alarm transportation and interactive services use existing internet connections instead of a traditional telephone line.

Longwood, FL, October 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- SecureNet Technologies today announced the SecureNet Wi-fi Interactive Gateway, the second in a series of plug-and play hardware modules which integrate with existing alarm panels to provide secure, fast point-to-point alarm transportation using a customer’s existing internet connection, instead of a traditional land-based telephone line.

The entire line of SecureNet Interactive Gateway modules also allow interactive home automation services to be added to most existing alarm panel hardware.

Once installed in an existing alarm panel and connected to a local wi-fi network, the SecureNet gateway connects to other devices in or around the home wirelessly via Z-wave technology. Customers can use a mobile app or a website to access a variety of home automation and lifestyle services, including lighting and lock controls, management of audio/video systems, thermostat and energy management, and remote appliance control.

The SecureNet wi-fi gateway can be added to alarm panels most commonly found in homes and businesses, including panels from Honeywell, DSC, and GE. The process of upgrading an existing panel with the SecureNet gateway is simple, and services can be fully activated in less than one minute.

Both wi-fi modules and ethernet-based modules are available now.
