SecureNet Joins Z-Wave Alliance

SecureNet announces its support of Z-wave as the leading enabling technology for wireless home control.

Longwood, FL, October 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- SecureNet Technologies today announced that it has joined the Z-Wave Alliance, a consortium of independent technology companies that build wireless home control products based on the Z-wave wireless communications standard. Other members include GE, ADT Security Services, and Ingersoll-Rand.

SecureNet’s Interactive Gateway Modules, a line of plug-and play hardware devices which integrate with existing customer alarm panels, use Z-wave technology to control and communicate with a wide variety of home automation devices to provide interactive video monitoring, security, and lifestyle services which make homes and businesses safer, more convenient, and enjoyable.

There are currently more than 900 different products and software applications certified by the Z-Wave Alliance, spanning all major market sectors for residential and commercial control applications. These include including lighting and lock controls, automated window treatments, garage and access controls, management of audio/video systems, thermostat and energy management, and remote appliance control.
