Discovery Initiatives Announces Two New Tours to the Volcanoes of Galapagos and the Great Mountain Gorilla Gathering in Uganda

Discovery Initiatives’ new Galapagos Volcanology and Ecology tour

Discovery Initiatives has brought together a world class team of experts on Mountain Gorillas (Ian Redmond OBE), primates (Dr Julia Lloyd), wildlife photography (Heather Angel), conservation & tourism (Julian Matthews & Praveen Momon) and wildlife art (Jason Morgan) together with Ugandan host experts, and have booked two exclusive lodges for 5 nights in the richest rainforest habitat in Africa, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve.

Combining Gorilla treks, workshops, lectures and community visits, the Great Gathering aims to explore this stunning park and its rich biodiversity as well as concentrate on the future of primate conservation, with an approach that is both ‘hands on’ and interactive.
