About Marianna Gleger, Founder
Ms. Gleger has almost 40 years experience in the field of education. She is the Founder of the Gleger Center of Mathematics, Inc. which is a program for accelerated students in mathematics with a strong emphasis on developing problem solving strategies and life long study skills in Maryland. She serves as a math educator for accelerated students ages 7-17 and is a Professor of Mathematics at Baltimore City Community College. Ms. Gleger is also an Instructor and Coordinator at the Center for Talented Youth with Johns Hopkins University. She received “The Excellent Teacher Award” from Baltimore City Community College in 2013. Her affiliations include the N.C.T.M., M.A.A. and N.A.D.E. Ms. Gleger was born on January 5, 1956 in Kherson in the Ukraine. She obtained a M.A. in the Ukraine in 1977. In her spare time she enjoys travel, art, music and theater.
