Incredible India at 60 Contest from Dreamland Tours

Dreamland Tours Inc. launches a promotional contest awarding two free round-trip air tickets to India as part of the ongoing celebrations and events for India at 60.

New York, NY, October 11, 2007 --( India@60 was organized as a celebration of India’s 60 years of freedom from colonial rule. The organizers include the Indian Ministries of Tourism and Culture and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Attendees at the events, held in New York, included Ronan Sen, India's Ambassador to the U.S., Sunil Mittal, President of CII, Vayalar Ravi, Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs, Nirmal Singh, Secretary of Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs, Neelam Deo, Consul General of India in NY and Anil Kapoor, Bollywood filmstar.

Dreamland Tours ( was on hand at these events, and has announced the launch of a free promotional contest, in which each winner will receive two free round-trip airline tickets to India. Dreamland is running this contest via its online newsletter, and contestants must sign up for free to be eligible to win the tickets.

Statement from Dreamland CEO Rob Zachariah, “The original intention was to limit the contest to the duration of the India at 60 events in New York. We distributed pamphlets at the events, requesting people to sign up on our website, free of charge, if they were interested in the free airline tickets, and the response was simply phenomenal. A lot of enquiries kept coming in even after the celebrations were wrapped up. To fulfill these requests, we have decided to continue with the contest, and subject to a sustained response, we are planning to announce one winner every month.”
