Latest Editing Tools from Adobe and the New Lumberjack System at the May Editors' Lounge

Product specialists from Adobe will be demonstrating all the latest updates and features for Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC, After Effects® CC and Adobe Speedgrade CC.

Burbank, CA, May 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- If you’ve been eager to learn more about Adobe you won’t want to miss this month’s Editors’ Lounge. Product specialists from Adobe will be demonstrating all the latest updates and features for Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC, After Effects® CC and Adobe Speedgrade CC. The event will be held Friday, May 30th at AlphaDogs Post Production 1612 W. Olive Ave., Suite 200, Burbank, CA 91506 beginning at 6:30 pm. RSVP is required to attend the event.

New updates include:

· Live text templates that enable users to modify text in After Effects compositions without leaving Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
· Powerful new Masking and Tracking in Adobe Premiere Pro CC that make it easy to add feathered masks that follow a subject through a shot, making it easy to add an effect to a moving object, or to blur out faces or logos for the duration of a shot.
· The new Master Clip effect feature in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Speedgrade CC, applies changes that were made to a Master Clip effect to every part of that clip in a sequence—so there’s no need to copy and paste effects to each clip individually.
· The Adobe Premiere Pro CC update also offers a faster editing workflow with improved handling of large projects and accelerated sorting and searching in the project panel, as well as enhanced graphics performance with support for a wider ranges of GPU’s, including GPU debayering for RED media.

“Premiere Pro offers industry-leading support for the latest file formats and hardware, so that today’s editors can handle almost anything you can throw at them, whether it’s 4K RAW material, or footage from one of the new cameras, like the ALEXA AMIRA, “ said Al Mooney, senior product manager. “And with all the new integrations between Premiere Pro and other Creative Cloud tools and services, editors have never had more creative power at their fingertips.”

Philip Hodgetts will be on hand to demonstrate the exciting new Lumberjack System and preview the beta IOS app for the system. This muscular real-time media logging and pre-editing tool has radically changed on-set logs and string-outs for all types of non-scripted productions from documentary and reality television, to sports, conferences, and other situations where real-time capture of metadata is valuable.

Lumberjack System works seamlessly in tandem with Apple’s Final Cut Pro X 10.1 and is updated live on set to the cloud or offline using an iOS application that uploads the logs when Internet service becomes available. All production metadata is stored in a safe, secure server for access by your editor from their workstation in the office. Lumberjack System works for all levels of user, from the beginning filmmaker to the advanced professional. Lumberjack System not only aligns the real-time logs with the media in Keyword Collection, but also optionally creates select string outs based on keywords, activity or person.
