About Richard L. Daniel
Mr. Daniel is retired after spending 34 years in the military and law enforcement fields. He honorably retired as a Captain with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department of California. He is currently an author and is writing his second book. His first book, entitled “Momma Loved Us, This I Know,” ISBN-13: 978-1629945002 is available on Amazon.com. Mr. Daniel is also a published song writer, composer and poet. He is a Master Black Belt and is an Inductee of the Masters Black Belt Hall of Fame. He received the Black Belt Golden Achievement Award in 2003 and the Living Legend Award in 2011. Mr. Daniel is affiliated with S.A.G.-A.F.T.R.A, the National Law Enforcement Officers Association, Kenpo Karate Association and the International Martial Arts Federation. He was given numerous awards including the Medal of Distinction for Bravery, Commendation for Life Saving Award, the California Legislative Assembly Award, Outstanding Law Enforcement Administrator Award and Outstanding Leadership Award, Deputies and Staff. Dewey F. Bartlett, Governor of Oklahoma, awarded him the Title of Okie. He has Top Secret Clearance and is a licensed Armed Bodyguard and Certified Police/Military Hand to Hand Combat Instructor. Mr. Daniel was born on November 16th in Oklahoma and obtained an A.S. in Administration of Justice, a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in Human Behavior. In his spare time he enjoys Martial arts, Kajukenbo and motivational speaking.
