Canadian Bev Standing Voice Behind Hilarious New Kraft Cheese Campaign

London, Canada, June 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The voice of the new Kraft shredded cheese commercial involving jumping off of a building in Wingsuits, all due to a misunderstanding over a distracting, delicious dinner, is Canadian-born voice actress Bev Standing.

Standing brings two of the cheesy 30 second ads to life, which are currently airing on two Canadian cable networks and racking up views on the company's YouTube channel.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Standing became involved in the voice-over industry in 2008. Acting on a whim to take her mind off of the tragic year she had just endured, she decided to take the VoiceWorx Weekend Warrior workshop. From there, she pursued more training, secured an agent at TaDa Voiceworks - who was involved with the Kraft project - and began securing clients while establishing a home studio. In 2012 Standing joined Voices.com, quickly becoming a popular and familiar voice on the site. Last week, she secured the #1 spot on Voices.com's Weekly Favourites List.

Voicing such brands as Revlon, PepsiCo, and Clarins, the Kraft campaign was especially significant to Standing.

"My dad was an advertising executive and he had the Kraft account when I was young. The Kraft peanut butter bear was even my teddy," she reminisces. "This project was particularly fun and meaningful for me, as he and I talked about the great Kraft commercials he was working on all of the time." Standing's father passed away in 2001. "I know that my dad would be so proud of this project and my involvement in it. It has all come full circle."
