)-- W.K. Dickson & Co., Inc., a leading community infrastructure consulting firm, announced today that Brian Tripp, PE, BCEE, has been promoted to Regional Branch Manager for the Charlotte area. Brian assumes responsibility for the operation of the firm’s Charlotte Region and will continue to play a significant role in the growth of WK Dickson’s overall water resources practice across the Southeast.
Originally hired as a Water Resources Project Manager, Brian has been employed with WK Dickson since 2004 and quickly became one of the most effective project managers for the firm. Throughout his career he has been involved in water distribution and wastewater collection systems and treatment facilities in both North and South Carolina. He is currently the Program Manager for many of the firm’s larger water and wastewater related projects. Brian, who is also a Vice President in the firm, has been acting as the Interim Regional Branch Manager for Charlotte for the past three months.

Brian holds a Master’s Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biosystems Engineering. He is an industry leader in water resources management and is a frequent presenter at conferences and educational events. Brian is active in state and national organizations and was recently appointed as AWWA Director-Elect for the North Carolina American Water Works Association and Water Environmental Association (NC AWWA-WEA).
