TFI Envision, Inc. Unleashes the Power of Shopping

Avon, CT, December 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- TFI Envision, Inc. was selected by Goodwill of Western & Northern, CT, Inc. to review their existing in-store messaging and refresh it for one of their newest retail/collection locations in Avon, Connecticut. This would serve as a model for communicating the mission of the organization effectively, stimulate shoppers and increase buying impulse.

TFI Envision assessed the retail environment and created messaging that speaks directly to the target audience – consumers – to help them understand the Goodwill mission and their important role in supporting it.

By donating and purchasing merchandise, the shopper is empowered by his purchase to “do good,” supplying the needed funding that supports the many programs offered to the people they serve, helping them achieve independence and self-sufficiency through job training and other supportive services.

The communication concept took a cue from the award winning, integrated advertising campaign TFI Envision had developed – “The stuff good is made of” – and expanded upon it to create a retail environment that captures shopper attention while fostering a positive shopper response by further communicating the mission of Goodwill.

Appealing aspirational imagery and easy to read, strategically alligned copy began with the Grand Opening mailer, and appears on wall graphics, in checkout signage, floor graphics, and shopping cart signage to get the point across. Goodwill’s full mission statement appears in each dressing room, where shoppers have a moment to linger and fully grasp the good work Goodwill does.
