Travel Insured International Joins CABO, Connecticut’s New GLBT Chamber of Commerce

East Hartford, CT, November 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Travel Insured International, the service-focused travel insurance company, has joined as a Corporate Level Sponsor of the new Connecticut business organization CABO, the Connecticut Alliance for Business Opportunities.

CABO is the state’s first and only Chamber of Commerce dedicated to developing business opportunities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals, and for GLBT-friendly organizations. Founded in 2006 through the efforts of Dena Castricone, an attorney with the New Haven-based law firm of Murtha Cullina, CABO has a stated goal to “foster a more inclusive and vibrant Connecticut economy.”

In October of this year CABO hosted an organizational membership meeting in which Travel Insured participated. CABO is still in its formative stage as it continues to recruit both individual and corporate sponsor memberships. More information is found on its Website at www.TheCABO.org

Travel Insured Marketing Coordinator Jennifer Tracz has accepted CABO’s invitation to serve as the Chairman of the new organization’s Marketing Committee. Tracz has taken a leadership role in coordinating Travel Insured’s participation in national GLBT business organizations and in creating Travel Insured’s Rainbow site. This site, dedicated to the interests of the gay, lesbian and community-friendly travel industry, is accessible to travel sellers, consumer travelers and interested members of the business community at www.travelinsured.com/rainbow.

“I look on CABO as a great way to develop networking opportunities as the eyes and ears of the travel sector within an increasingly diverse Connecticut business community,” said Tracz. In addition to Castricone, who serves as the founding President of CABO, other organizational leaders of CABO include Lisa Moyles, Vice President of CABO, who is owner of an Action Coach business franchise in Stratford; Scott Healy, Executive Director of the Town Green Special Services District in New Haven and Eniko Mikle, a Financial Advisor for UBS Financial Services Inc., based in New Haven.

CABO is a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). Travel Insured International became a member of NGLCC in May of this year. Travel Insured is also a first-year member of IGLTA, the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association.
