Ms. Guynn Wilcox has over 43 years experience in the healthcare field. She is a Nurse at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She serves as an Emergency Room Nurse. Mrs. Guynn Wilcox started as a LPN in 1972 and a RN in 1975 serving in the NICU, ICU, ED and as a Hospice Nurse. She has loved being able to precept students and new employees over the years. She became motivated to become a nurse in 1965 when her father died of cardiac arrest in front of her. She decided at that time that she would become a nurse and help people like her father.
She was born on October 18, 1952 in Ogden, Utah and obtained an A.S. in Nursing from Weber State University in 1975. Mrs. Guynn Wilcox has 5 children, 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She has enjoyed being a costumer and wig mistress for high school and community theatre and is a member of the Ogden Drama Club.
