Hazmat Training Comes to the Raleigh Area

Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, will present mandatory DOT, IATA and HAZWOPER training in Cary, NC.

Cary, NC, March 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- When workers handle hazardous waste and/or hazardous materials, training is not just a good idea, it’s the law. Any individuals involved in the shipment of hazardous materials/dangerous goods by ground or air must receive training mandated by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) and the International Air Transportation Association (IATA). Those who are expected to stop, contain, and clean up releases of hazardous materials are required to have 8 hours of annual refresher training.

Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, will present the training in Cary at its headquarters, 101 Center Pointe Drive, on April 19-21, 2016.

For those involved in the shipment of hazardous materials/dangerous goods by ground and air, DOT/IATA: Transportation of Hazardous Materials by Ground and Air will be offered on April 19, 2016.

Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response 8-Hr. Refresher Course will be held on April 20, 2016.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods: Compliance with IATA Regulations on April 21, 2016, will prepare personnel to ship dangerous goods by air.
