Donlen's Amy Blaine to Present Alternative Fuels and Choosing the Right Fuel Technology Session at NAFA 2016 Institute & Expo

Northbrook, IL, April 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Donlen, the fleet industry's most customer-centric and technically integrated provider of financing and fleet management solutions, has announced that Amy Blaine, vice president of analytics and sustainability, will be presenting the Alternative Fuels and Choosing the Right Fuel Technology session to attendees at the NAFA 2016 I&E in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. CST.

The 2016 NAFA I&E provides fleet professionals high quality fleet management education, which is current and relevant to the success of fleet professionals. Sixty percent of I&E attendees represent corporate fleets of all sizes, from Fortune 500 Companies to smaller regional business fleets. During the Alternative Fuels and Choosing the Right Fuel Technology session, attendees will learn how to:

· Identify alternative fuel options available to fleets
· Understand why fleets often choose to go the alternative fuel route and how that benefits them
· Identify resources for fleets to realize their sustainability goals

“Last year was an exciting year for the alternative fuel vehicle’s market. Declining fuel prices have helped reduce fleet spend but have also made the ROI for alternative fuels more challenging. And in December, a global agreement to reduce emissions was signed by 195 participating countries during the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris leading to increased interest in fleet emissions reduction,” said Blaine. “Session attendees will learn about the global market so they can navigate the decision making process surrounding alternative fuel vehicle implementations to support their company goals.”

Blaine holds a master’s degree in statistics, and a master’s in environmental management and sustainability. She has been helping companies make data-driven decisions for over 20 years. Amy leads Donlen’s predictive analytics team, which is focused on updating and developing new FleetWeb® predictive models. These models help customers make fleet forecasts, allowing them to save money and reduce fleet emissions.
