SpectraJet Unit Turns in Impressive Results

The SpectraJet air mover manufactured by AMH Canada Ltd has been tested in the USA against its competitors. The unit is designed to produce fast drying times on waterborne basecoats used in the car refinish business.

Rimouski, Canada, January 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The SpectraJet air mover made by AMH Canada Ltd has been tested against all its major competitors and out performed them in all departments. The SpectraJet, part of the Spectratek equipment range is designed to dry waterborne basecoats being used in the car refinish industry. With energy costs soaring, body shops have been looking for a cheaper alternative to using heated air in the spray booth to dry waterborne coatings. During the tests carried out in Detroit the target drying area was the whole side of a motor vehicle. Several elements were being tested including ease of use, energy consumption and drying time. The SpectraJet unit out performed its nearest competitor by 22% and reduced drying times to as little as just 4 minutes. Peter Phillipson, the Vice President of AMH Canada commented “We were delighted with the test results. The SpectraJet unit not only performed well but has proven to be the best value unit on the market at only $399 USD. The SpectraJet unit is being launched in the UK this month and forward orders are already very encouraging.”
