The Prompting Announces Representation of First Ever Potential Mrs. America 2016 Wheelchair Contestant

Starla Hilliard Barnes, paralyzed from the waist down and first-ever Mrs. America contender in a wheelchair, is poised to win Mrs. Montana and compete for Mrs. America 2016.

Orlando, FL, May 11, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Starla Barnes, current Mrs. Wheelchair Montana title holder, is the first-ever wheelchair contestant in the Mrs. Montana and the Mrs. America pageants. Her inclusion in both of these pageants, should she win Montana, has already been approved. Her Personal Advisor on this inspirational journey is Dr. Rollan Roberts, renowned personal advisor and strategist to celebrities, executives, companies and high profile individuals.

Mrs. Barnes, now 28, was paralyzed from the waist down seven years ago in a horrific hit and run accident. She is a fighter, and despite numerous physical setbacks, continues striving to be able to stand one day. She is married with one daughter and is a prominent example of someone that has the will to win, doesn't give up and blasts through invisible barriers of the disabled.

“As a nation, we need to come together to break down invisible barriers and become a nation of inclusion,” Barnes said. “Every single individual should have the opportunity to feel beautiful, strong and confident.”

Barnes is actively reviewing national sponsorships so she can effectively compete.

The Mrs. Montana pageant will be held June 11, 2016 in Missoula, MT. If Mrs. Barnes wins, she will be competing in the Mrs. America pageant in August in Las Vegas, NV.
