New features include multiple installations of the same module (payment and/or shipping), real-time shipping quotes with UPS and USPS, improved newsletter subscribers management, restriction of minimal order amount and SMS notifications (Shop-Script PREMIUM only).
Earlier this year WebAsyst LLC made a gift to customers: Shop-Script PRO, the most affordable commercial cart of the line, was upgraded with features previously only available in Shop-Script PREMIUM, and at the same time, the price of the PRO version was decreased. Since then, the two PHP solutions are more similar, except for some advanced features introduced exclusively in Shop-Script PREMIUM.
"It all depends on our customers’ specific needs: if you just need to set up an online store that works, Shop-Script PRO is very affordable and full of features most stores need; Shop-Script PREMIUM may be a better idea if your operation is more complex", says Vladimir V. In line with new company policy, both PRO and PREMIUM versions of Shop-Script contain the new features, with the exception of SMS notifications, available solely in Shop-Script PREMIUM.
