Invisco Announces Tornado Rooftop Turbine Ventilators

CSR Edmonds in Australia has been making their high performance Hurricane turbine rooftop ventilators since about 2005. Invisco has designed the new Tornado turbine ventilator for the United States market.

Temecula, CA, August 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Invisco has been manufacturing high performance ventilating systems for homes and commercial buildings since 2008. Kurt Shafer, founder and inventor at Invisco, was the first to offer infinitely variable speed whole house fans. He also invented the first SmartSpeed(TM) automatic thermostat for whole house fans and the first SmartSupport for easy whole house fan installation.

Now Kurt has created the Tornado line of turbine rooftop ventilators. Similar to the Edmonds Hurricane, the Tornado offers the highest performance air flow for gravity ventilation that can be found. The new Tornado offers this high performance in a design that is more robust and lower in cost to make than the Hurricane.

Using sealed stainless steel bearings ensures that the Tornado will withstand the harshest of conditions. The supporting throat is removable from the shaft and the turbine top so it can be nested in the top for easier shipping and assembly on location.

The Tornado is initially available in 3 sizes, 12 inch, 24 inch and 36 inch throats. Sizes down to 4 inch throats will be available in fall 2016.
