M.S. Royal Star Sails Into the Red Sea

For the first time in her history, the M.S. Royal Star, will set sail from her home port of Mombasa bound for the Red Sea as part of the latest addition to African Safari Club’s range of cruises and holidays.

Bromley, United Kingdom, February 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Just four Red Sea Cruises will depart on 10, 17, 24 and 31 May 2008. The 7 night cruises will sail from Hurghada, with the itinerary including visits to the ports of Suez, Sharm-el-Sheikh, Aqaba in Jordan and Safaga.

Announcing the launch Daniel Sykes, Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, said “Since 1991, we have offered cruises to the paradise islands of the Indian Ocean, so this is an exciting change for the M.S. Royal Star and her crew, not to mention her previous guests. Much like the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea boasts a plethora of historical, natural and modern sights, leaving visitors with memories that will last forever.”

An extensive range of optional excursions include visits to the Pyramids in Cairo, the West and East Banks of the Nile, the Monastery of St Catherine, the ancient city of Petra and the deserts landscapes of Wadi Rum, to name a few. All excursions are booked and paid for on board giving customers the flexibility to make their cruise as active or leisurely as they wish.

The concise 12 page brochure includes detailed three dimensional diagrams of the main cabin grades as well as itinerary, excursion and port of call information and prices.

A Red Sea Cruises website (http://www.africansafariclub.com/redseacruises) has also been launched which, further to the brochure, offers an image gallery, and the ability to check the availability of your chosen departure.

The cruises depart weekly on 10, 17, 24, 31 May 2008 and prices start from £665 per person based on two adults sharing a twin inside cabin. This price includes return flights from Gatwick to Hurghada, a seven night Red Sea cruise with full board and transfers. Also included are all port and airport taxes and fuel supplements.
