Invisco Whole House Fan Company Announces a Wireless Speed Control for Infinitely Variable Speed EC Motors
Invisco is the only whole house fan supplier to offer infinitely variable speed fans. Now there is a wireless control for them that includes an on/off switch with memory for the last speed that was set.
Temecula, CA, March 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Invisco Whole House Fan Company is the leader in high performance whole house fans and offers two versions of their best fan, the attic mounted ES6320 and the roof mounted ER8000 rooftop whole house fan for homes without attics.
The ES6320 is the first and only single motor whole house fan to move more than 6300 CFM. The only other whole house fan in America that moves over 6300 CFM is made by QuietCool and they have two models, the QC ES6400 and the QC Stealth STL-6.5. Both of those products use two motors and blades to achieve that air flow. And both of those fans offer just 2 or 4 speeds. Invisco is the only American firm to make whole house fans with infinitely variable speed controls.
Until now, there has not been an off the shelf wireless speed control for infinitely variable speed EC motors (Electronically Commutated Brushless DC Motors). For some time there have been wireless solutions for speed control of discrete speeds like 2 speeds or 7 speeds but not for infinitely variable speeds.
This new Invisco EC motor Variable Speed Control comes in two parts. One is the receiver that is mounted on or near the fan. It takes a 120 VAC input and puts out 0-10VDC for the motor speed. The other is the transmitter with 3 buttons - up, down and on/off. It is tested to operate up to 60 feet from the receiver. The system is smart enough to remember the last speed so when it is switched off the speed output falls to zero and when switched on the speed output is the same as it was before being switched off.
